Ethereum Wallet Activity Surpasses Bitcoin for the First Time

The metric reflects the total number of active unique addresses that have made transactions over the course of 24 hours. According to Santiments Chart, about 651,560 wallets were involved in various activities on the Ethereum blockchain-as opposed to 597,280 on Bitcon.

But while this shows the overall activity, it’s hard to say how many actual users were involved. That’s because there’s virtually no limit to the number of addresses an individual user or entity could have, so the numbers aren’t entirely meaningful in that regard.
